SANTA FE ADOBE IV

"Santa Fe Adobe IV"

With the encouragement of my dear artist friend, Julie Ford Oliver, I decided to push color in the adobe walls found everywhere in NM.  My favorite walls and gates are in Santa Fe.

I also signed up for the thirty paintings in thirty days challenge set up by Leslie Saeta for September.  I think I will continue with architectural elements as they are such fun to paint.

    My fav part is the wonderful old door on this one. You managed to make it look really weathered.
    Glad we will be doing the thirty day challenge together.
