ReplyDeleteHi Carol, I really like your flower shop series..it reminds me of when I had a florist years ago. Now I paint my fair share of blooms, too. Yours are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you Egretta. I so love your work and that I found your blog.
DeleteLovely to see the flowers, at this time of year when things are a little gray, flowers always pick me up!!
ReplyDeleteFlowers do pick us up so much. I wonder why I don't bring them home even from the grocery store more often.
DeleteGreat series. I especially like today's one and the one with the woman in. I have heaps of photos of the flower market in Nice, but for some reason have never painted them. Maybe this will give me inspiration!
ReplyDeletePaint those flower shops Marion. I can't wait to see them. I have never been in Nice.
DeleteThis is something I have not done in years... visit a flower shop. (It's a luxury.) I do always make a point to look in the grocery though. So nice to "visit" your wonderful paintings Carol :) My mother always has fresh flowers on the dinner table.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are enjoying abundant creativity :)
Sheila, you are a dear. Thank you.
