  1. Hi Carol, I've enjoyed looking at your new pieces this morning. You paint flowers so prettily! This scene is especially inviting. Also, your glassware paintings are amazing. I think painting glass is really hard to do!

    1. The only way I know how to paint glass is to study it ever so carefully, searching out how the light refracts and where the reflections are. It is a slow process!

  2. Hi Lisa. I am like you: paint and paint. Learn and learn. Now I have a new lens for a camera and there's that to learn before I leave for France next month (art travels again).

  4. I know this is all about the flowers, and they are glorious! But I keep coming back to this to stare at the water. I love your light. In the flowers, the hill beyond, the sky, the water. Everything is so alive! Love your work Carol!
