IN THE HARBOR

IN THE HARBOR

IN THE HARBOR
8x8 oil, unframed, palette knife

I am thinking boats, harbors, lobstermen, fishermen, fish markets, waves
and
my summer trip to Maine

This painting is textural with thick paint layered on with a palette knife.
It is suitable for framing and looks best in a floater frame
but you can also display this on a beautiful tabletop easel

  1. These water scenes are lovely Carol! The owner of the art gallery I am in right now was just talking about her class she took with Leslie and Dreama. What a coincidence. I love the painting a few posts back where you used phalo green in the water. Gorgeous!

    1. How interesting is the coincidence of your story. What gallery? I wonder if I met this owner? Someday we will meet as I love your free spirit!

    1. I find palette knife paintings offer the advantage of not being able to be tight plus colors stay clean. I could be better with an ability to properly frost a cake, as that is quality required in palette knife painting. Thanks Kim.
