The 3rd Annual Corrales Starry Night Plein Air PaintOut Event will be held Aug. 22th- Aug. 29th, 2015 in Corrales, New Mexico. Forty Plein Air Artists will spend a week in the Village of Corrales painting all the beautiful sites: The Old San Ysidro Church, the Casa San Ysidro, the Acequias (irrigation ditches), the Bosque, the Wagner Farmlands (cornfields, chili fields & apple orchard), the Water Lily Gardens, the Vineyards & the many charming adobe buildings & businesses in Corrales. Tickets for the Gala Event are available in the village of Corrales. The event is sponsored by Corrales MainStreet.Inc.
Two paintings, per plein air artist, painted during the event will be on sale in the big tent at the gala event on August 29th at the Parker Residence. Many paintings sell that evening to collectors. Later on September 5-7th there will be a Labor Day Weekend Exhibit at Villa Acequia, the awesome location represented in my painting above.
