For ten colorful painting days I stayed in this magical place.
In this courtyard alone at
Le Vieux Couvent in the Lot Region of France

there were painting opportunities to last for weeks.

I love the color of the flowers, medieval stone building, and the shade umbrella.

  2. Thank you. I love painting France....it was delightful beyond words. And speaking of words I do wish I spoke French. Yet it is always good to be home to all of comforts.

  4. Are you familiar with "Redbubble.com"? I could easily see that on a canvas tote or as a pillow. It's free to join, so why not? They sell your work on these products and more for you, they do all the work! Of course, to get paid, you must have a business or have yourself set up as one. Another great one Leslie Saeta taught me was of "Imagekind.com". Check them out. This is one painting that could drive up sales for you...it's gorgeous!

Oh, and in French, I'd describe this as "Tres Bien." (Very good.)

  5. Leslie and Dreama have told me about "Imagekind.com. It is time to drive up sales. I mean way past time. I will definitely give some serious thought to your suggestion. Thank you!

  7. Thank you Karen/ Le Vieux Couvent is a wonderful sort-of-artitst-retreat. I could have stayed there for a month. I would love to go back but overseas flights are so daunting....
